Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Buffalo Surge take on the Providence Crabs.

In a tight affair between the Providence Crabs and the Buffalo Surge, pitcher Crabby Pebbles was in the zone. The Providence right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-0. The Crabs improved to a lofty 47-12.

Boyz II Chess Back Again, who is tied for 3rd in the Legends in triples with 3, had a direct impact on the outcome. Back Again contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Providence up, 2-0.
