Crabs Get Close Win Over Surge, 7-6
The Buffalo Surge got a superb performance from pitcher Juicy Jumbo, but the Providence Crabs still won the game, 7-6. Jumbo threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. With the win, Providence upped its record to 34-25.

The decisive blow was delivered by Paulo Zalewski in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Paj Bobba to win the game for Providence. The home crowd went nuts.

Zalewski described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
