In a low-scoring contest, San Antonio pitcher Starburns Glorbenspeel was marvelous in his team's 3-0 win. The winning pitcher was Glorbenspeel, now 5-3. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Getting the save was Redd Rockman, his 2nd.
