The Buffalo Surge picked up a win at The Power House, taking down the Nashville Stars, 5-2. Starting pitcher J.C. Swishman was a big reason why. In 7 innings, Swishman surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 5. He allowed no runs. The win gives Buffalo a record of 5-4.

Hana Streamsong had a big 2-run double for the Surge in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Buffalo leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a cutter from Mac John, who led the Champions in wins with 15 in 2074, and swatted a double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Surge ahead, 3-0.

Buffalo manager called it "a darn good win."
