Vancouver and Seattle duked it out and the Vandals came out victorious.

Holly Sheet was locked and loaded, helping the Vancouver Vandals beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 3-1. Sheet, now 9-6, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Lucas Greep was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

Vancouver used a clutch at-bat from Atlas Sluggs to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Vandals ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We busted our tails," said Seattle manager . "But we came up short."

With the win, Vancouver has a record of 37-25. Seattle falls to 32-30.
