Cari Price Memorial Stadium was the site for Champions Conference action featuring the New York Voyagers and Death Valley Scorpions.

Femini Nomenon brought his A-game to help Death Valley defeat the New York Voyagers, 6-1. The winner was Nomenon. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Taylor Adkins.

The Scorpions got a big at-bat from right fielder Lawn Gnomes. For the game, Gnomes went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Death Valley a 2-0 lead.

"Femini giving us the start that he did was huge," said Death Valley manager .
