Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Indianapolis Apex and Boise Raptors.

The Indianapolis Apex picked up a win at Hammond Park, knocking off the Boise Raptors, 5-4. On the mound for Indianapolis was right-hander Romeo McFlourish. He played a key role in the triumph. Takeda Takahashi locked down his 9th save.

Indianapolis used the timely hitting of Edward Mackinlay to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Apex on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," McFlourish said.

Indianapolis is now 36-26, Boise 23-39.
