Aviators Earn 8-7 Win Versus Scorpions
Rachel Morimura was instrumental in his team's 8-7, extra-inning triumph over the Death Valley Scorpions. The first baseman was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Outer Banks Aviators. The loss makes Death Valley 27-36.

Outer Banks used a timely hit from Julio Ruiz Jr. to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Aviators ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It was a test of wills," said , the Outer Banks skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
