Angle Excels, But Voyagers Win
The Death Valley Scorpions could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Launch Angle into a win. Instead, the New York Voyagers prevailed, 9-8. Angle belted 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Ya Hound picked up the win in relief. Bandit Keith took the loss for Death Valley. Anthony Stover picked up the save for New York, his 2nd of the year.

Diego Ramieriez contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. His at-bat helped New York get the win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Voyagers manager . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

New York is now 42-21, 6 games up in the Legends Conference East.
