Death Valley turned a fine outing from starter Always A. Bummus into a victory over the New York Voyagers at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The final score was 3-0. Bummus, now 9-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Earning his 5th save of the year was Zachary Vega III.

Death Valley took a 2-0 lead on Launch Angle's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Angle hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Taylor Adkins visibly frustrated.

"Always A. was cooking with gas," said Death Valley manager .
