The Buffalo Surge bested the San Antonio Sloths, 6-2, at The Power House. Dimpley Splorger was one of the standouts. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. With the victory, the Surge upped their record to 32-17.

With Buffalo leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Splorger hit a fastball from Starburns Glorbenspeel for a run-scoring double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Surge ahead, 2-0.

In postgame comments to the Buffalo Times, Splorger said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
