Plainview Hits 2 home runs in Scorpions Win
The Death Valley Scorpions beat the Detroit Demons, 5-0, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Daniel Plainview, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, Death Valley upped its record to 32-18.

With Death Valley leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Plainview hit a screwball from Shohei Ohtani for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 3-0.

"It was a solid team effort," said Plainview after the game.
