Toros Collect 9-4 Win Over Vandals
The Cancun Toros downed the Vancouver Vandals, 9-4, in 12 innings at The Thunderdome. Myles Meredith led the way, going 3-for-5 for Cancun. Pedro Martini earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Vancouver is 3-7 after the loss.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 12th, until Meredith delivered big-time for Cancun, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Joe Random. The game-changing hit put the Toros on top, 6-4.

"We take it day by day here," said Meredith, "and today was a good one for us."
