New York got a terrific performance from pitcher Wallie Choi, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cancun Toros. Cancun won the Vaughn's House contest, 5-4. Choi threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Cancun, now 8-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Cancun used the clutch hitting of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Snek to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Toros ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said New York manager .
