Duck Now 3-5 After Subduing Crabs
|
The Boise Raptors got a stellar performance from pitcher Cy Duck, who handcuffed the Providence offense en route to a win, 8-0, at Hammond Park. With the win, Boise raised its record to 37-31.
Duck earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Boise. The native of Tampa, Florida, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Providence hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Duck.
