The home crowd had a good time watching the New Orleans Rougarous and Vancouver Vandals get after it.

The Vancouver Vandals dealt the New Orleans Rougarous a 6-4 loss at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium. Danny Burgers was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Darren Clapp was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.

Burgers had a key at-bat for Vancouver early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and gave Vancouver an early 2-0 lead.
