Raptors Handle Buffalo, Snag 4-0 Win
|
Thunder Miller, who is tied for 4th in the Legends in complete games with 1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Boise Raptors to a 4-0 win against the Buffalo Surge at Hammond Park. Miller yielded no runs over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 6, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-13. The Raptors raised their record to 16-52.
Boise took a 4-0 lead on Romain Gauthier's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Gauthier hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Buffalo pitcher J.C. Swishman visibly frustrated.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Buffalo skipper , "and it cost us."
