San Antonio first baseman Stuart had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Stuart went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Death Valley beat the Sloths, 6-5. Bandit Keith, credited with the win, is now 6-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits. Death Valley has now won 4 straight.

Death Valley used the timely hitting of Smalls to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Smalls.
