McNeily Leads Pathfinders to 10-4 Win Over Sea Serpents
|
Scott McNeily was a vital contributor to the 10-4 Toronto victory over Seattle. The Pathfinders catcher went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Jihmih Beniko, the winning pitcher, is now 1-1. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 5 and walking 3. With the win, Toronto improves its record to 1-9.
Nolan Windsor Jr., the slick-fielding shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Windsor Jr. contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Toronto up, 3-2.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said McNeily.
