The Death Valley Scorpions overcame a good performance by Detroit third baseman Danger Dollarson to knock off Detroit, 13-10, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Dollarson was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. M4XX V3L0, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. With the win, Death Valley has a record of 29-39. Detroit falls to 38-30.

The Demons had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Scorpions going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old left fielder Stelle came to the plate. Stelle hit a 2-run home run on a 1-1 fastball from Detroit hurler Goaty McGoatFace. It was Stelle's 11th home run of the year.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Stelle.
