The Indianapolis Apex got a superb performance from pitcher Luna José Rodríguez Ortiz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Death Valley. The Scorpions won the game, 2-0. Ortiz threw 7.0 innings of 1-hit ball. The loss makes Indianapolis 37-18.
