In a tight contest between the Providence Crabs and the Outer Banks Aviators, Count Crabula was the determining factor. The Providence left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. Picking up his 12th save was four-time All-Star Randy Colón. With the win, Providence raised its record to 43-28.

Providence used the timely hitting of JD Pants to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crabs on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Pants.
