Death Valley and Seattle duked it out and the Scorpions came out victorious.

Death Valley center fielder Melo Misteur helped his team beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 10-8. Misteur, who is tied for 6th in the Champions with a .370 on-base percentage, went 2 for 4 for the Scorpions. The win for the Scorpions lifted their record to 47-24.

With Death Valley leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Misteur hit a run-scoring single off Seattle hurler Ivy de Vries. It was the 71st hit of the season for Misteur and put his team ahead, 5-3.

"When their pitchers are leaving stuff over the heart of the plate, we're not missing it," said Death Valley manager .
