Downward Spiral Continues for Boise
|
Another game, another loss for the struggling Boise Raptors.
The 13-6 Toronto win over Boise was due in large part to Nolan Windsor Jr.. The Pathfinders shortstop went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Sigandi Legend got the win, improving to 4-11. He worked 7 innings, giving up 5 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3.
In the bottom of the third, Toronto first baseman Peter Dawson III had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Dawson III stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-1, Toronto. For the game, he went 1-5, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager .
The Raptors, now 21-50, have lost 11 in a row.
