Vandals Earn 5-3 Win Against Sloths
|
The Vancouver Vandals downed the San Antonio Sloths, 5-3, at The Treehouse. The Vandals were led by McLovin Jr.. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Thor Lore earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 9-3. Vancouver improves to 43-28 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.
McLovin Jr. had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a full count fastball from Liru Wolf, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Vandals a 4-3 lead. It was the 28th double of the year for McLovin Jr..
