Voyagers Top Surge, 3-1, Behind Gauzeman
|
The New York Voyagers got a stellar performance from pitcher Kelvin Gauzeman, who handcuffed the Buffalo offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Vaughn's House. New York has now won 5 games in a row.
Gauzeman's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 10 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 6 hits. Gauzeman, who is a three-time All-Star, goes to 7-5 on the year with 107 strikeouts.
"I'll be honest," said Gauzeman. "I was running on fumes at the end."
