Detroit parlayed a decent outing from starter Pythagoras into a solid win over the Nashville Stars. The final score was 5-4. Thorne Belfour closed it out for his 12th save.

Pythagoras allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings for the Demons. He walked 2 and struck out 6.
