Randberg Excels in 8-2 New Orleans Win
Sobert Randberg left his imprint on the 8-2 New Orleans win against the Death Valley Scorpions. Randberg, who is tied for 10th in the Champions in extra base hits with 32, was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Brian Eshleman Jr., who threw 110 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits. Baron Samedi recorded his 6th save for New Orleans.

The Rougarous got a big at-bat from catcher Alaskan Bull-Worm. For the game, Bull-Worm slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave New Orleans a 4-2 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Randberg.

The win for the Rougarous raised their record to 35-23.
