The Power House was the site for Legends Conference action featuring the Boise Raptors and Buffalo Surge.
Starting pitcher J.C. Swishman did his part in helping the Buffalo Surge thwart the Boise Raptors, 4-1. Swishman yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 8-8. Picking up the save was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Paj Bobba.
The Surge had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-1, Buffalo, with one out. Boise, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Razmataz Buckshank dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he struck out.
Boise has now lost 4 consecutive games.
