New Orleans pitcher Dash Jackson did his part in helping his team defeat the Nashville Stars, 3-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Ea Nasir picked up the save for New Orleans, his 4th of the year. The third-place Rougarous go to 33-40.

New Orleans used a well-timed hit by Jackson Love to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Rougarous ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It's a mindset," said Jackson. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
