Vandals Earn 8-4 Win Against Toros
Vancouver registered a win at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS by beating the Cancun Toros, 8-4. Pitcher Andy Beans was one reason why the Vandals triumphed. The win brings the Vandals to 7-3, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Akshay Hrishikesh to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Vandals on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Andy -- I just love the competitor in him," said Vandals manager .
