The Death Valley Scorpions used an offensive barrage to beat the Toronto Pathfinders, 10-1, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Launch Angle, who finished 2nd in the Champions in home runs with 24 in 2073, led the way, going 3-for-5 for Death Valley. The triumph makes Death Valley 7-3, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2075.

With Death Valley trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Angle hit a fastball from Biz Kitmaker for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 2-1.

Afterward, Toronto manager said: "We were guessing wrong on pitches, and that's something we've got to get away from."
