Surge Suffer One-Run Loss at Death Valley

Cari Price Memorial Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Buffalo Surge and Death Valley Scorpions.
The Death Valley Scorpions got a stellar effort from pitcher Deviver Votto, helping Death Valley score a win over the visiting Buffalo Surge, 3-2. Bandit Keith, credited with the save, is now 11 for 15 in save opportunities.
Stelle, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2074, took Buffalo hurler Juicy Jumbo deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Scorpions on top, 3-2. In all, Stelle had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Deviver's stuff looked really, really crisp," said , the Scorpions manager.
The Scorpions improved their record to 44-31 with the win over Buffalo.
