The first-place Vancouver Vandals took on the Detroit Demons in front of a spirited crowd.

The Vancouver Vandals picked up a win at The Thunderdome, dropping the Detroit Demons, 6-1. Chuck Nasty, who is tied for 5th in the Legends in wins with 9, was the difference-maker. The Vandals lead the Legends Conference West by 12 games.

In his 105-pitch effort, Nasty allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 7.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Nasty.
