Biff Slamous made an impact in the 7-4 Detroit win over Vancouver. Slamous, who is tied for 9th in the Champions in doubles with 21, was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Detroit is in third place in the Champions Conference East with a record of 29-33.

Slamous had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Capsaicin Shrub, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Demons a 6-4 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Slamous.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Slamous told the Detroit News.
