Pedro Martini, who is tied for 7th in the Champions with a 9.4 K/9 rate, never let the Sloths get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Toros to a win, 5-0. San Antonio, at 29-49, has lost 4 straight.

Martini, who leaned on his changeup, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7.1 innings for the Toros. For the most part, San Antonio hitters were simply overmatched.
