The San Antonio Sloths did just enough to sneak past the Cancun Toros, 7-6, at El Coliseo de los Toros. San Antonio pitcher Leonidas Longpipe, in particular, had a standout performance. Ello Emmell earned the save, his 6th in 9 tries. Cancun is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 15 in a row.

Julian O'Sullivan Jr.'s at-bat in the top of the ninth was significant for the Sloths. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and San Antonio trailing 6-5, the Sloths shortstop hit a 2-run double.
