Solo Hits 2 home runs in Toros Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Vancouver Vandals and Cancun Toros get after it.

Napoleon Solo was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Vancouver Vandals. The right fielder hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Cancun Toros. Ryan Lee got the win, improving to 10-4. He held the Vandals to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Kelly Brandt recorded the save, making him 4 for 5.

With Cancun trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Solo hit a circle change from Holly Sheet for a 3-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Toros ahead, 4-2.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Cancun manager . "It's usually not just one thing."

With the victory, the Toros upped their record to 45-33.
