Rousseau Excels, But Armadillos Win
The Amarillo Armadillos overcame a good performance by State College second baseman Jack Rousseau to knock off State College, 9-8, at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Rousseau was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The win boosted Amarillo to 25-17.

Mexico-born Chorizo McTater came through in the clutch. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Armadillos trailing 8-7, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Amarillo on top.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said McTater. "It made for an exciting game."
