California starter John Valek IV pitched well against the Chicago Kingpins at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. California now has a 5-game win streak.

The game could have flipped with two out in the top of the fourth. But John Valek IV made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With the bases loaded and Chicago trailing 4-0, Valek IV threw a knuckle curve to Joe Anderson and Anderson flied out.
