Amarillo turned a good effort from starter Kaitlyn Montreal into a win over the State College Swift Steeds at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. The Armadillos won the game, 3-1. The Swift Steeds , now 17-25, have lost 6 in a row.

CJ Henderson had a big 2-run home run for the Armadillos in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Amarillo leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Bibi Kimura, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in innings pitched with 73.0, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Armadillos on top, 3-0.

"I liked his command," said Amarillo manager . "Kaitlyn was throwing strikes."
