Armadillos Win at Brew City, 8-6

Amarillo and Brew City got after it at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House.
The Amarillo Armadillos topped the Brew City Bears, 8-6, in Minor League PBE action at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The game was highlighted by the performance of Amarillo catcher Lestat de Lioncourt. Barto O'Colon got the win, improving to 7-2. He worked 5 innings, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1.
Jordan Love had a critical at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for Amarillo. He came through with a 2-run single to put Amarillo in front, 5-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Love told the Amarillo Daily News.
The win for the Armadillos raised their record to 26-16.
