Bears Send Kansas City Home with 5-4 Loss
|
Brew City Bears starter Agnes Digital pitched a strong game against the Kansas City Hepcats at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, leading the Bears to victory, 5-4. The winner was Digital. He threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was A Bird. Lots-o'-Heineken Bear [BOT] finished the game for Brew City and earned his 1st save.
Swiffer Sweeper helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-1, Bears.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Sweeper told the Brew City Daily.
The win puts Brew City at 23-19 this season.
