Hepcats Deal Wheelers 7-1 Loss
|
The Kansas City Hepcats defeated the Anchorage Wheelers, 7-1, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Kansas City designated hitter Cason Warwick had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Hepcats now have a record of 13-29.
Gnome Child, the 20-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Child contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Kansas City up, 5-1.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Child said after the game.
