The State College Swift Steeds picked up a win at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0, topping the Amarillo Armadillos, 4-3. On the mound for State College was left-hander Derek Kirkland. He played a principal role in the triumph. State College now has a record of 24-19 with the win.
State College took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Jaheem Butler hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Swift Steeds in front, 4-2.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said State College manager .
