Lemurs Get Hard-Earned Win

The Louisville Lemurs sent the home crowd home ecstatic.
The Louisville Lemurs topped the California Firehawks, 5-4, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Louisville first baseman Luka Mackay was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Greg Evil picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Raul Chamgerlain suffered the loss.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Louisville. That's when Doug Love, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE with a .342 batting average, hit a 3-run home run off Raul Chamgerlain to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Love.
The defeat makes California 23-20.
