The Amarillo Armadillos took Puerto Rico pitcher Ottov Yeoj's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. The final score had Amarillo getting past the Ranas, 5-2. Yeoj went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 2. Amarillo has now won 3 straight, while the Ranas have lost 3 in a row.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Brent Goldberg to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Goldberg.
