The Amarillo Armadillos beat the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-2, at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. Commander Warsmoke, in particular, was impressive. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The victory gives Amarillo a record of 25-19.

Warsmoke had a key at-bat for Amarillo early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and gave Amarillo an early 2-0 lead.
