Toros Get Past Nashville for 3-2 Win
|
Cancun Toros starter John Cowgill turned in a sterling performance against the Nashville Stars, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Picking up the save was Roquefort Cotswald, his 2nd. The win gives Cancun a record of 7-4.
Cancun took a 3-2 lead on Salvatore Bonpensiero's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Nashville pitcher Remy Lebeau in the bottom of the eighth.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Nashville manager said following the tough loss.
