The Indianapolis Apex picked up a win at Full Moon Stadium, dropping the New Orleans Rougarous, 8-3. Calm Chicken, who finished 3rd in the Champions in strikeouts with 208 last year, was the difference-maker. The loss makes New Orleans 5-6.
In the top of the fourth, Indianapolis shortstop Iesuhc Yttef had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Yttef stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-0, Indianapolis. For the game, he was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
