Kingpins Squelch Flamingos Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Chicago Kingpins picked up a win at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium, knocking off the Florida Flamingos, 3-0. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Nicholas Huizenga, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 6 innings, Huizenga surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The second-place Flamingos have lost 4 straight games.
Mikey Hinckley, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, aided the Chicago cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a walk.
