|
Bendrick Hollows pitched a gem to lead Kansas City to victory over the Brew City Bears, 8-0. Hollows, now 4-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The win boosted Kansas City to 23-21.
Kansas City used a clutch at-bat from Martin Walker to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hepcats ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
