Wheelers Earn 8-5 Win Versus Brew City
The Anchorage Wheelers knocked off the Brew City Bears, 8-5, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Zach Le was a big reason Anchorage won. The catcher was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2. Oilohnroc Yttef, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 5-4. Reed Rothchild got credit for the save for Anchorage. It was his 1st of the year.

Jessica Comeau dealt the Bears a blow in the top of the seventh. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Anchorage leading 5-4, Comeau, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in hits with 56, hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We maximized our offense today," said Anchorage skipper . "That makes everyone's life easier."

The Wheelers move to 26-18 with the win, while the Bears drop to 23-21.
