|
Ray Kwaza, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE with a 6.6 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Florida Flamingos. The final score was 2-1, Amarillo. Kwaza, now 5-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Armadillos now own a record of 22-23.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Armadillos had to cash in when they had the chance.
