The Amarillo Armadillos topped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-6, in 13 innings. Amarillo designated hitter Brendan Shimmy, in particular, was impressive. He was 1-3 with a home run and 3 walks. Wayne Finch Summers notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. The victory gives the Armadillos a record of 26-19.

It could have been a different outcome for Amarillo, had it not been for Stick Man, the 22-year old right fielder . Man contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 13th inning to put Amarillo up, 7-6.
