The Lemurs grabbed a win, 4-3, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle, overcoming a fine effort from Brew City pitcher Zaxby Chan. Chan went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win for the Lemurs lifted their record to 27-19.
Had Prepotente Pony not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Pony hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Lemurs.
Louisville manager commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
