Hepcats Sneak By Kingpins, 4-3
|
The Kansas City Hepcats had to overcome a fine effort from Chicago pitcher Jay Blanco to grab a narrow 4-3 win at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark. Blanco went 6 innings and allowed no runs. With the win, Kansas City goes to 26-20, while the Kingpins fall to 27-19.
Kansas City took a 4-3 lead on David Doug's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Doug hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Chicago pitcher The Phantom shaking his head.
"I really like what we did out there today," Doug said after the game.
