Mahogany Helps Firehawks Beat Flamingos, 8-6
Firehawks left fielder Slim Mahogany left his mark on his team's 8-6 win over the Florida Flamingos. Mahogany went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for California in the contest. California reliever Jensen Wild picked up the win to move to 2-1. Hank [BOT] suffered the loss. With the win, California raised its record to 25-22.

In the bottom of the seventh, Mahogany put his team in front with his 4th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came against Hank [BOT], made it 7-4, California.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Mahogany told the California Gazette.
