It took 13 innings, but the Chicago Kingpins were able to beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 5-4, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Showtime Jones provided some offensive muscle for Chicago. He was 5-6 with a home run, a double, and 3 singles. Chicago reliever Checo Perez [BOT] snagged the win, upping his record to 6-0. Greg Buse shouldered the loss. The win makes Chicago 28-19.

The Kingpins got a clutch hit from right fielder Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Kingpins.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said Ganjasmoke.
