|
With center fielder Sebastien Primeau leading the charge, the State College Swift Steeds defeated the Florida Flamingos, 10-7, at Florida Man Park. Primeau went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. Froggy Dubois, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in holds with 1, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Doc Rock. Getting the save was Ryusei Nekomata, his 2nd.
Tommy Killfigure, the State College right fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to make the score 9-7, Swift Steeds . For the game, Killfigure was 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Primeau, "one at-bat at a time."
With the victory, the Swift Steeds record stands at 20-27.
