Kingpins Beat Bears, 5-1
|
Chicago got a strong outing from Balker Wuehler as the Kingpins defeated the Brew City Bears, 5-1, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Bauer Bottom picked up the save, his 3rd. The last-place Kingpins go to 17-30.
The fans who came to support the Kingpins were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Wuehler, "and then get after it again."
